After speaking to Rick Burton, the founder of independent video game developer KnightMayor, OnlySP has learned the launch date of The Rise of Mooncrest’s Kickstarter campaign.

With a base goal of $35,000 in thirty days, the funding campaign will begin on May 23, 2017. In addition, the Greenlight campaign will commence on May 16, 2017. The Kickstarter campaign will also have four stretch goals, but Burton did not expand on them during his conversation with OnlySP. However, Burton did state he would provide more information on the stretch goals at a later date.

OnlySP recently reported on a pre-Kickstarter demo for The Rise of Mooncrest, which is available for PC. Click the above link to read more about The Rise of Mooncrest and to view a brief gameplay video featuring combat within the game’s campaign.

The Rise of Mooncrest is a tactical RPG (TRPG) set in the fantasy world of Nocturne. Players take control of their commanders and lead their armies against an exotic enemy force that has ravaged Nocturne. In the chaos, the city of Mooncrest is the last surviving bastion of resistance against this foreign army. As players progress in the story, their commanders will level up and be presented with various options of advanced classes to give them an edge on the battlefield.

Development for The Rise of Mooncrest is still in the very early stages, and no release date has been announced with no current estimate available. Be sure to check out the official KnightMayor and The Rise of Mooncrest website for a complete overview of the game and to download the pre-Kickstarter demo.
