With the exception of pre-order bonus character Eliza, the list of playable characters for ‘Ultimate Tekken Bowl’ DLC is limited to the base roster of Tekken 7.
Shared on Twitter by Wonkey of Avoiding the Puddle, the game’s Japanese website states that guest characters from the second and third DLC packs will not be playable in ‘Ultimate Tekken Bowl’. Apparently, the news came after fans expressed interest in hearing guest character Howard Geese’s “predictabo” signature line changed to “predictabowl” for the minigame.

‘Tekken Bowl’ was first introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament. Aside from gracing Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Tekken Bowl was released as a free mobile app in 2011. The game mode features regular bowling mechanics, but with quirks of the Tekken series such as characters diving into the bowling pins and unique special abilities for some characters.
The first paid Tekken 7 DLC pack launches on August 31 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Alongside ‘Ultimate Tekken Bowl’ are new costume additions: Blood Vengeance School Uniforms (Xioayu & Alisa), Swimsuits and Vintage 1920s bathing suits (female fighters), Idol Master themed outfits (all female fighters), and traditional Japanese Fundoshi (all male fighters). New character profiles and a customized Tekken Bowl spark effect can also be seen on the official website.
The second DLC pack scheduled for Winter 2017 will include Howard Geese from SNK’s Fatal Fury and King of Fighter series as well as costumes and a new stage dedicated to Geese. The final Tekken 7 DLC pack scheduled for Spring 2018 will add another currently unannounced character, alongside costumes and a special stage dedicated to the fighter.
