Necromunda: Underhive Wars, the upcoming dystopian adaptation of the popular Necromunda tabletop game by Games Workshop, has a fresh batch of screen shots that look pretty grim.
The environments are the focal point of the screenshot, which look entrenched in gritty steampunk tropes. Players will also get another look at some of the title’s gangs, which include the all-female Eschers and the musclebound Goliaths, complete with their own style and idiosyncrasies.
Much of the game will take place within Hive Cities, which, even by Warhammer standards, are run-down, polluted, and rusted urban areas overflowing with crime. Remnants of old technology and up-cycled metal architecture litter much of the environments, with the character designs mimicking the city’s rot.
Overall, the environments of Necromunda look to give Rage 2 and Mad Max a run for their money, with the art design looking remarkably consistent. Check out the gallery, embedded below, and be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
