Theory Interactive’s long-awaited RESET was due to release this past December, but missed the mark and is now due for release in the very near future.
The developers took to their blog on March 9 to relay the news that an official Steam release date is coming soon. Four days later, they provided the best look at the game yet, including a first flimpse at some never-before-seen underwater gameplay elements, in the trailer embedded below.
Those who have not heard about RESET before now should check out the feature-length interview OnlySP’s Owen Vince conducted with the developers back in early 2014 although, granted, some of that information may be outdated at this point.
RESET, according to the developers, is “a first person co-op puzzle game from Theory Interactive, [that] has an unusual and exciting mechanic; you’ll have to travel back in time to co-operate with a previous version of yourself to complete its complex puzzles. But Reset will not just be about these tricky puzzles; it will also have a significant emphasis on story, atmosphere and immersion within its procedural generated island environment.”
