Tarsier Studios has revealed the release date of its upcoming suspense-adventure game, Little Nightmares, with a creepy new trailer.
The game, set to be published by Bandai Namco, will be available from April 28 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The new footage (embedded below) shows the protagonist, Six, working through some of the atmospheric environments that the title has to offer, making use of stealth and light platforming elements to avoid detection.
In addition to this, the trailer offers a first glimpse at a a new adversary, the Janitor, who lurks in the background and strikes out silently.
OnlySP has closely followed the development of Little Nightmares, ever since it was initially announced as Hunger back in 2015, including interviewing the developers twice, at different points in the project’s lifespan. As part of the second interview, we learned that the game will last players between six and eight hours, and will feature no dialogue, along with a few other details about enemy design and the impact of narrative.
Little Nightmares will be the first full game from Tarsier Studios since 2009, as the developer has been a long term partner of Sony and Media Molecule, working on a number of downloadable content packs and expansions for the LittleBigPlanet series, and helping to create the PlayStation 4 port of Tearaway.
