Hellblade will be available early next month on PS4 and PC.
Ninja Theory has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming AAA indie game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, as well as details on the PlayStation 4 Pro version of the game.
The vague trailer provides a glimpse at a dark and terrifying fantasy world, complemented beautifully by an ominous voice-over and jaw-dropping visuals. The trailer also offers the best look yet at the game’s combat mechanics.
For those planning on getting Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on PS4 Pro, this version features some neat improvements. The game can run at either an increased frame rate or an increased resolution, both greatly boosting the visual fidelity of the title. Those playing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on a high-end PC will have access to an uncapped frame rate, as well as 4K resolutions and 21:9 ultra widescreen support.
Pre-orders for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on PS4 will receive an exclusive Dynamic Theme that depicts the iconic burning tree scene of the game. PC pre-orders will get a digital short comic, called Hellblade: Senua’s Song.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice launches August 8 on PC and PlayStation 4, and comes with a surprisingly cheap $29.99 price tag. The price reflects the relatively short run-time of the game (which clocks in at between six and eight hours) when compared against most AAA adventures.
