Cat Quest II: The Lupus Empire, the sequel to 2017’s action role-playing adventure Cat Quest, has a new trailer that introduces a stronger co-operative focus.
The sequel is developed by The Gentlebros, who handled the previous iteration, with the gameplay looking very similar to the original title. The game promises that players will return to environments “familiar and new,” implying that the sequel will return to the pastoral plains and mountains of its predecessor.
Solo play is viable, however, despite the title’s heavy co-op marketing. The trailer, embedded below, provides a snapshot of the series’s cutesy visual charms:
