2D ARPG Indivisible Pushed Back to Next Year


The long-awaited and much-anticipated Metroivania-styled ARPG Indivisible has been pushed back to a 2019 release.

The title was originally intended to be available during late 2018 with developer Lab Zero stating “we did everything we could to prevent this from happening.” The two major reasons for the delay are shipping and production costs and the sheer amount of assets needed to provide the quality experience Lab Zero intended when envisioning the project.

To fund the additional production, the team has used some of the royalties received from its previous project, the well-received 2D fighting game titled Skullgirls. Publisher 505 Games (Payday 2) has also stepped in to assist with funding, allowing Lab Zero to bring on a new Lead Level Designer and Lead Writer.

Despite the delays, the developers have issued a promise that no content has far been cut from the final game and to keep followers regularly updated with blog posts and streams on the ongoing development. The update ends with the introduction of a new hint screen featuring tutorials on how to use some of the playable adventurers.

Indivisible is currently available as a free demo on Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Windows. The final game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
